Statement from Bishop Danny Carter, The Church of God:

We regret to report the passing of General Overseer, Bishop Robert J. Pruitt.  We will cherish
the years we labored together for the Lord.  He has now entered into his joyful reward, resting
in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Sister Norma Pruitt and sons, Phillip and Teryl Pruitt.  We
are thankful to God for the brief visit we had together in May of this year.  Bishop Pruitt will be
greatly missed!
