Bishop Danny Carter, Regional Overseerfrom Regional Representative, Scott Hatton;Dated: 11/21/05Note: This letter from Scott Hatton states, "I will bring before the Church the same charges that removed your minister’s license: “Rebellion against established General Assembly guidelines concerning theocratic principles” and “Sowing Discord.” "
However, these weren't the charges that removed Brother Carter's minister's license. In fact, the charges on which his license was removed still remain unclear. Scott's 'facts' are incorrect.
Also, Scott's letterhead incorrectly gives the address of "856 North Main Street Franklin, IN 46131" as his address. This is neither Scott's church or office address. This is the address of the local church in Franklin which Brother Carter founded and Chris Newport serves as pastor, and is also the physical location of this Regional Office. Those who continue to meet for services at this local church are in complete agreement and unison with Bishop Carter and continue to recognize him as their Overseer. Any mail going out from Scott Hatton with that local church's address on it is incorrect and fraudulent.
